Strengthening Bonds
From November 27th to 29th, Watoto Kwanza Kenya (WKK) had the pleasure of welcoming our UK supporters, Emily Sullivan and her children, Imogen and Aiden. Their visit was filled with meaningful interactions and cultural exchanges. This opportunity was made possible by the generous support and facilitation of the African Children’s Fund, whose ongoing commitment strengthens our programs and positively impacts the lives of many children. The visit highlighted the importance of global partnerships and provided an enriching experience for everyone involved.
The family, who has been supporting our program, came to witness firsthand the impact of WKK’s initiatives across our schools and contributed generous donations, including books, stationery, gam kits and various games. Despite schools being in the KCPE exam period, which limits access to many classrooms and schools, we arranged visits to two institutions: St. Patrick’s Special School and Joy Children’s Home. This report provides a comprehensive overview of their visit, detailing their engagement with students, staff, and local culture.
