About Us

Everyday many of the older Kenyans are dying of HIV/AIDS related complications. There is dire need to focus on empowering the orphans and vulnerable children arising out of the scourge. In Kenya AIDS has been declared a national disaster, our support goes to compliment the work of others.

Watoto kwanza Kenya is providing an early morning mug of nutritious porridge to ensure that this class of children can grow up healthy, happy and educated to be able to take their rightful place in Kenya’s future.

We are a group of visioned,determined and focused professionals who came up together and hatched the idea of watoto kwanza Kenya. We got much needed support from African Children’s fund UK.

through providing basic needs for their retention in school.

Vision:

Making education accessible to the less fortunate children.

Aims /Objectives:

1. Improve retention rates of vulnerable school going children by providing porridge.

2. Establishing porridge clubs in schools.
3. Establishing kitchen gardens to supplement feeding programs.

4. Provide positive encouragement to parents, teachers and pupils in education.

5. Solicit help for vulnerable pupils in poor areas of Kenya.

6. Help identify sponsors for bright, but needy girls in secondary schools.
